◆ Product Details


Medical UV adhesive tape is a light-curing functional adhesive material specially designed for the R&D and manufacturing of medical devices. It is evenly coated with medical-grade UV curing adhesive that meets biocompatibility requirements on a highly transparent flexible substrate (such as PET, TPU or medical film) and is protected by a release film.。Before being irradiated with ultraviolet rays, the adhesive layer remains adjustable; after being irradiated by a UV light source with a wavelength of 365-405nm, it is rapidly cross-linked and solidified within seconds to form a permanent bonding layer that is solvent-free, volatile-free, and highly clean.。The product does not contain plasticizers, halogens and harmful solvents, and is suitable for medical equipment production scenarios that require extremely high safety, cleanliness and precision.。


◆ Scope of application


In vitro diagnostic (IVD) equipment: sealing and lamination of microfluidic chips, test cards, and kit components;

Disposable medical devices: bonding and fixation of catheter connectors, infusion connectors, blood collection devices, and blood separators;

Sensors and monitoring equipment: packaging of wearable physiological sensors, blood glucose meters, and blood oxygen probes;

Optical medical components: precise bonding of endoscope lenses, laser treatment heads, and light-transmitting windows;

Not applicable to: direct contact adhesion with human skin, wound closure, internal implantation or main structure bonding of long-term indwelling devices (unless clearly verified and registered)。


◆ Product Performance


Excellent biocompatibility: passed ISO 10993 series of tests (cytotoxicity, sensitization, irritation, etc.);

High light transmittance: ≥90%, suitable for optical or visual components;

Rapid UV curing: Curing is completed in 5-30 seconds under 365-405nm light, improving production line efficiency;

Sterilization resistance: It can withstand ethylene oxide (EO), gamma ray or electron beam sterilization, and has stable performance;

◆ Notes


It can only be used in the manufacturing process of medical devices. It is strictly prohibited to be used directly on human wounds, skin or used as dressings;

Operators need to wear UV protective glasses and gloves to prevent uncured colloid from contacting the skin or eyes;

Curing must use UV equipment that matches wavelength and energy to ensure complete cross-linking and prevent residual monomers;

Store in a cool, dry, dark environment (recommended 5℃~25℃), away from heat sources and direct sunlight;

The shelf life is usually 6–12 months, and expired products may have increased viscosity or incomplete curing;

Process verification and biocompatibility confirmation should be carried out before use to ensure compliance with terminal medical device registration requirements;

Waste materials should be handled according to industrial chemicals or medical manufacturing waste regulations and should not be discarded at will.。
